HAPPY NEW YEAR!
At the last SFT Committee Meeting, we came to the conclusion it was time to show recognition and give thanks to those of you who have donated or raised money for the Trust.

We would also like to thank Barclays Bank for their financial support since our formation and for allowing a number of  their staff to spend time organizing the Inaugural Dinner last February.  Sarah Wright and her team did a fantastic job -.it was a mind blowing experience.

Thanks also to the many people involved in organizing or taking part in events such as: 2009 marathon (? Tyrell); L.T. raffle?; cake selling? books (C.Alston);LT Football Matches and the  team (S Herbert);Shenfield F C team and families (R Keeys); The Pub in the Field for hosting Stu's Birthday celebration;Stag night collection (A Feakins) Pub Night Quizzes (P Passam): LT Choir (L. Yauner). It is through their valliant efforts our funds have become so healthy.

There are also many companies and individuals who have donated money, gifts or services to the Trust, these are: The Learning  Trust; ELBA; Trinity Mirror  Printing Co.; Owen Southcott for designing our logo; musicians  who played at the celebration last February; D.J at other events; ? Pub in the Field ?..The people who prepared the video for the Dinner?...
Warren Keeys for designing programs, etc. Simon Sheppard for designing the website. Charis Thomas for her financial skills. Nicola Barboneau and Razzaq Dauda for connecting us with people and schools. Ian Barney for chairing the committee meetings, whose knowledge of running a charity have been so helpful in keeping the committee under control.
Without your help we could not have gathered the funds so quickly.  We do appreciate your support.
My apologies if I have missed anyone.

This year we have several projects in the pipeline - you will already have seen those we funded in 2009.

Please note the AGM will be on Friday March 12th at a venue to be confirmed.
